Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain't no denyin' I've been flying, ain't no denyin', no denyin'

Thursday

I wish I had the energy to be funny right now.

Greetings friends,

I've never really had any big ideas or plans for a blog/website latly. But I must say that this little photo blog has been great. The conveinence is incredible, especially when hooked up with the cool program called Picasa from the genius' over at google. Y'all should check it out.

The school year is winding down and I almost have 1/4 of my college career under my belt. S'been great so far, the parties, the crawfish boils, the subsiquent aftermath of both, eh, maybe that's not great, but still I'm blessed. I always find it cheesy when people say, "I'm blessed" but I suppose the truth of the matter is, I am.

LSU; when I first decided to come down here for college I had no idea of what I was going into. And looking back I think perhaps luck had more of a part in it all anyways. Latly I've had this overwhelming feeling that the United States is small, it's not, but going to school 1000 miles has definiatly changed my perspective on the world, consider this:

Who's world is smaller, the international who's traveled all over, or the farmer who has lived in one town his whole life? The internaltional's world is smaller in my opionion, because has been places and to him anywhere is reachable, and in fact many places have already been attained. On the other hand, to the farmer, there are infinite possiblities, places he can only dream about, so in essensce I'd say the farmer's world is larger.

Just food for thought I suppose, but it's been on my mind latly. I know I want to travel to alot of places but what I really think I'd rather have is the experience of living abroad for a few years each in several different places. Perhaps a happy medium between a small and large existence. Ether way, props to Michigan, t'will always be my home-place. So for now, Talk to the Hand (Points to Fenton, MI on hand)

Y'all have a goodnight,
CP

PS - Some songs I've been listening to latly-

Cary Brothers: Blue eyes
Frou Frou: Hear me out, Let go
The Shins: When I goosestep, Caring is creepy, New Slang, et al.
Coldplay: Trouble, Don't panic
